This data is analyzed using Torishima's unique methods, allowing for early detection of changes in the machinery. Additionally, since the data is managed in the cloud, it can be monitored remotely via a web interface. The system performs frequency analysis of vibration acceleration up to 10,000Hz, enabling early detection of condition changes that traditional sensors might miss by capturing "changes in frequency rather than the magnitude of vibration." It is actively used in over 400 facilities, including power plants, manufacturing industries, and buildings. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is promoting initiatives to facilitate the accurate introduction of "smart security technologies" through public-private collaboration. As part of this effort, the Smart Security Promotion Committee evaluates the validity of new security methods utilizing smart security technologies and data, and aims to share and disclose information on new technologies and smart security models to promote their introduction and expansion. This information is compiled and published as the "Smart Security Technology Catalog" by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE).
